Step 1: Open the sunglass holder and remove the two screws fastening it to the roof. Step 2: Pry the front part of the panel off. Note there is a lip around the front edge that requires extra force to get past. Once the front is free you can remove the panel entirely. There are two brackets on either side of the reading lights that hold the rear portion in place. Step 3: Disconnect the panel's power connectors and set the panel aside. |

Step 4: Use the supplied direct wire power adaptor to tap into the small connector's pink/black wire (far right). This wire provides power when the ignition is on. The two middle wires are always hot, even when the car is turned off. Attach the negative lead to the ground location shown. |

Step 5: Run the V1 power cord through the headliner. I like using the coiled cord so the line has some give yet stays taut. Step 6: Wrap the power adaptor in foam and place in the cavity near the top left of the opening. Step 7: If you don't use the concealed display, you're done. Reassemble the parts in reverse order. |

Step 8: If you want to mount the concealed display below the radio, you'll need to remove the A-pillar trim to run wire. Pull the rubber door seal away from the trim. |

Step 9: Pop the two middle fasteners holding the trim. Pull the trim upwards to release it from the white fastener. Step 10: Thread the phone line along the existing wire path. It's the gray line in this photo. Step 11: Use pliers to rotate the white fastener 45 degrees and pull out. Attach the fastener head to the A-pillar trim prior to reattaching it to the car. If you damage this part, the part number is GJ6A-68-162. |

Step 12: Carefully pop the radio trim off using a flat screwdriver wrapped in electrical tape. It's held in place by three connectors. Step 13: Feed the wire behind the glove box and into this cavity. You may need to remove the glove box and ashtray for easier access. Pull the ashtray straight out to remove it. Leave enough slack in the wire so you can remove the head unit if you ever need to. I wrapped the wire in electrical tape for extra protection. |

Step 14: Wrap the trim in blue tape to protect it while cutting with a dremel cutoff tool. Cut a rectangular hole in the trim for the concealed display. My horizontal cuts are 0.55" and 1.45" from the top. From the centerline the left side is 1.13" away and the right side is 1.17" away. If you mess up the trim part number is F151-66-BC0. Step 15: Use a T9 Torx screwdriver to open the concealed display case. |

Step 16: Remove the electronics board from the front bezel. Insert the bezel through the front of the trim and attach the electronics board from behind. Step 17: Use Goop or JB Weld to secure everything in place. |
