As you can see the stock cabin air filter on the left is pretty flimsy. That isn't a camera flash reflection--it's the light behind the filter shining through. By contrast the aldehyde filter on the right is much thicker. The part number is LDY3-61-J6X.

Step 1: Open the glove box. Squeeze the sides of the glove box together so the ears on each side (Circle A) clear the retaining stop.

Step 2: Pull the connecting rod to the right until the snap (Circle B) pops out.

Step 3: Lift the glove box out and set aside.

Step 4: Pull the air box cover straight back. It has retaining clips on either side.

Step 5: Remove the two air filters from the compartment.

Step 6: Reassemble the parts in reverse order. You're done!
