They say web pages are simply today's finger files. This is mine. They also say today is the first day of the rest of your life. For me, May 3rd 2003 was the first day of the rest of my life. That's the day I married a woman named Christine and my life will never be the same. Not only is she is everything I could ever hope for in a mate and more, but she also makes me a better person. Or at least, she's trying to. [grin] Things I enjoy: |

If 5/03/03 was the first day of my life, then 11/27/04 is the day I started to get old. As an adult one year blended into the next without any real difference between them. I've found once you have kids you notice how quickly the years speed by. It seems like only yesterday I was changing diapers. Today there's a sudden chill when I think about how quickly driving lessons and college will arrive. I don't know what tomorrow will bring but I do know it will come faster than I expect. |

On 4/18/07 my second child was born and I really started to burn the candle at both ends. I read a study once that claimed it doesn't take appreciably more time to take care of two children compared to one. Apparently those study authors were either celibate or rich enough to hire full time nannies. I can't think of any other explanation of how they came to their conclusions. |
