Fremont, 2002

Once upon a time there was an independant B&W alternative comic titled "Sam and Max" about a talking dog detective (Sam) and his sidekick (Max) who had a penchant for violence. Their creator liked to play a game called Fizzball and included it in one of the issues. Fizzball is a very simple game: take one axe handle and use it like a baseball bat to swing at cans of beer. Much hilarity ensues as the results tend to be unpredictable--with the sole exception that people are going to get splattered with beer. At least once a year we like to get together for a BBQ and invariably play Fizzball afterwards.
